Athanas Kioko, a Kenyan athlete and Wake Forest assistant coach representing Fast Break Athletics in Chattanooga, Tenn., won the men's 3,000 meters in 7:46.52 at Camel City Elite at JDL Fast Track in Winston-Salem, N.C. Kioko improved from a fourth-place finish last year in 7:50.46. Kioko is credited with a 7:41.02 performance with the adjustment as a result of the flat track conversion at JDL Fast Track.
